Positivity is Contagious!

Just wrapped up another Positive Education training, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite courses to teach! 💛 Every session leaves me feeling more positive myself and reminded of the power of small, intentional changes.

One of the highlights? Our Gratitude Jar—each day, we added something we were grateful for, a simple practice that helped shift our focus to the good around us. ✨ Whether it’s a daily written practice or a 30-second-right-when-we-wake-up-mental-practice, it’s a fantastic reminder that it takes nothing to be kind to ourselves, yet that kindness can have a lasting impact on our well-being and the way we view ourselves.

And when we are positive, we impact those around us—our energy, our mindset, and even our words can uplift or discourage. That’s why teaching our kids to identify emotions, regulate them, celebrate achievements, and speak kindly to themselves and others is so crucial!

The Positive Education approach for well-being in schools isn’t just about feeling good—it builds resilient, confident individuals who aren’t afraid to share their thoughts, learn from challenges, and grow. And the benefits? Stronger academic performance, healthier relationships, and most importantly, young people who believe in themselves.

One of the most powerful moments for me was during our closing reflection, when a participant shared that in order to create a positive environment for her students, she needs to first grow it in herself. Just wow!
