Softness is Power

As a woman in public speaking and facilitation, I’ve often read, heard, and even witnessed first hand remarks that traits like empathy, softness, and emotional intelligence dismissed as “weak”—but in reality, they are exactly what make my work stronger.

Creating a safe and open space isn’t just a nice addition—it’s vital. When people feel heard, valued, and comfortable, they engage more deeply, take creative risks, and truly connect with the learning experience. Whether I’m leading a workshop, training educators, or facilitating a discussion, my ability to hold space with warmth and authenticity has proven to be an asset that adds real value.

This International Women’s Day, I’m proud to embrace and celebrate these qualities. Softness isn’t weakness—it’s the foundation of trust, growth, and meaningful collaboration. ✨
