Post-Enchanted 2025 Reflections

Still thinking about Enchanted… and my heart is, as always after, so full.

This gathering at Selgars Mill has become a marker in my year. It’s continuously been a space that grounds me and sets the tone for the summer ahead. 🌿💫

Some highlights I’ll be holding close:

✨ Stargazing with Ines Castagnet, and seeing those mini shooting stars across the peaceful rural landscape (living in the big city, I definitely don’t see stars like that)!

🎲 A spontaneous post-dinner game of Petanque that turned into a full-group moment of laughter and connection!

🤝 Workshopping with Floris Koot! Even though we had not worked together previously and have very different styles of facilitation, we celebrated our shared passion for play and theatre as a way of collaborating and that translated into some really cool moments. I learned so much from him!

Three years ago, I came to Enchanted as a volunteer, mostly helping with hands on manual logistics. This year, I ran my own session on storytelling and play! As I move towards experimenting with new ways of working and trying out new things, the openness and support from the team and the participants for me to experiment was so heartwarming. Watching people dive into their creativity, reconnect with their inner child, and explore new ways of connecting was such a privilege!

One participant (also a trainer like me, yay for connections!), Kathrin David, shared some wonderful reflective words about my session:
