Training? Yes please!

Still buzzing from the facilitation intensive course with Julia Slay in London earlier this week. Back in Barcelona now, and feeling full of ideas and reminders about why this work matters!

A few key takeaways for me:
💡 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. There’s such value in being a participant again, in observing, reflecting, and experiencing facilitation from the other side.
🔔 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝘆 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹. Loved this simple but powerful tool for grounding and focus, small gestures that make a big impact.
🌍 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁. Learning from such a diverse group (from tech to the arts, academia, and beyond) offered so many new ideas and approaches.
🎨 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀. In fact, it’s essential. Seeing how creative and somatic practices can unlock deeper insight and collaboration was a huge affirmation.

The diversity in the cohort, from personality types to countries, sectors to individual journeys, truly contributed to a really unique learning experience. Big shoutout to Julia for creating such a nurturing environment for us to share, explore, and grow together!

Leaving with more clarity, more curiosity, and so much gratitude for this group and everything I’ve learned.
