We’re wired for play, it’s how we connect, de-stress, and feel human again.

Adults who engage in playful activities cope better with stress,

report higher life satisfaction,

and show greater resilience in everyday life.

Playful moments trigger endorphins, lower stress hormones, and support emotional balance, your nervous system literally gets a chance to 𝘦𝘹𝘩𝘒𝘭𝘦.

This is why I always start my workshops, whether I’m with leadership teams, kids, and everyone in between, with games.

Research on drama-based learning shows that embodied, playful engagement boosts comprehension, self-regulation, and social awareness… Exactly the skills we need in our teams, communities, and relationships.

If you’ve been feeling a little disconnected from your body, your emotions, your community, or your sense of purpose, you’re not alone.

This is exactly why Kathrin David and I created Reconnect: Ground, Give, and Grow, and why we’re hosting a free introductory talk next Friday.

In this one-off session, you’ll walk away with:

🎭 One embodiment practice to help you come back to your body

🎲 One playful game to spark connection and joy

πŸ—£οΈ One communication framework you can use in everyday conversations

If you want to experience how simple games can open the door back to yourself, and to others, join our talk next Friday (registration link in the comments). 🌿

PS What’s one playful moment you’ve had recently that made you feel more connected?

Mine? Monday’s online improv workshop for improv-curious folks.

We built an interspecies soap opera between a dog and cat…

think Romeo & Catliet, with more fetch fights and hairballs. (You had to be there) πŸΆπŸ˜ΌπŸ˜‚
