Something new…

Today, I wanted to share something a bit different, and honestly, a little vulnerable.

It’s #WorldMentalHealthDay today, it feels like the right time to speak out loud about a project idea that’s been sitting with me for a while.

And there’s power in saying things out loud!!

At the Tzu Chi Foundation TIYA Conference this summer in Singapore, I had the joy of supporting the event as an emcee. The three day event was truly so inspirational, particularly in seeing so many young change makers develop their ideas for making the world around them be a better place to not just ideas, but tangible projects with vision and a clear path forward.

It got me thinking about how the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals could be present in my work as a creative learning specialist too…

In my opinion, the arts is a powerful powerful tool to understand something in a profound way, with your whole being – so why not with the SDGs too?

Since then, I’ve been especially drawn to SDG 3: Good Health & Well-being, and I’ve started developing a drama-based project that explores this goal through play, embodiment, and creativity.

It’s about how we can use theatre and creative practice to reconnect with joy, build confidence, and imagine well-being as something sustainable, something that radiates outward into how we teach, collaborate, and live in community.

This is the first time I’m sharing this idea publicly (eek!), and I’d love to hear your thoughts.

✨ Does it resonate with you?

✨ Would you be interested in a project like this – as a participant, team, or partner?
