Weekly recap this week, and it’s all about emotional intelligence!

๐ŸŽญ Kicked off Drama 101 with educators in China, using drama to build teamwork, critical thinking, and language learning through play.

๐ŸŒฑ Delivered an @ERASMUS+ Staff Training with Euromentor SL on Social Emotional Intelligence for educators from Poland and Sweden, where we explored how SEL supports not only students, but adults too. In relationships, communication, and the quality of the environments we create… in all areas of life.

๐Ÿค Launched Reconnect with a small group, starting with Grounding and looking honestly at where disconnection shows up in our lives. Was a beautiful start, looking forward to the next two sessions with Kathrin David. Next week – Growing!

Emotional intelligence is one of my favorite topics to teach.

Some people think it’s nice to have but not essential.

However, Iโ€™ve seen in myself again and again: when I become aware of my inner world (feelings, thought processes and patterns, I can understand them more clearly, and then choose differently. Choose better.

Social emotional learning matters in education, leadership, collaboration, and everyday life because it shapes how we work, relate, and respond under pressure.

Emotional intelligence is not a โ€œnice to have,โ€ itโ€™s foundational across roles, sectors, and stages of life.

Whatโ€™s stayed with me most this week is simple: if we want better outcomes, we need to invest in the human skills that make those outcomes possible.
